TIMETABLE
The course consists of a total of 6 sessions (lasting 4 weeks), of which 4 sessions are theory and 2 sessions are practice. The first and last weeks are only theory classes. In the middle 2 weeks, there will be theory on weekdays and practice on weekends.
The theory class is always on the same day that the course started. So if the first class was on a Wednesday, all other theory classes will be on Wednesdays.
Theoretical classes are held in the late afternoon and early evening. Practical classes are held on weekends in the morning (usually Saturdays) (and end at approximately 1 p.m. at the latest).

We will continuously provide homework between classes, and we will analyze the completed pictures in detail at the beginning of the next session!
Basics of Photography I.
You will learn the fundamental technical concepts related to the camera, such as shutter speed, aperture, ISO sensitivity, automatic and manual focus—and you will also get to know the different types of cameras.
You will become familiar with the types and properties of light, how to measure it, and what white balance means, thus putting it fully at your service. You will master the basics of image composition: how to use lines and fields (space). Basics of Photography II.
A detailed immersion into mastering the fundamental techniques, on both a theoretical and practical level, with a camera already in your hand. We will discuss the different types and properties of lenses, and you will also become familiar with focus types. We will study all the creative modes from A to Z, all the way up to fully manual settings. What else is in store?
- Understanding the relationship between aperture, shutter speed, and ISO

- Light metering modes in theory
- Selecting the right lens for a given subject
First Practical Lesson
Application of the previously learned theory in practice, at an external location. Practicing camera settings, from creative modes all the way to fully manual settings.

- The practical meaning of the histogram
- Photographing static and moving subjects (frozen, motion-blurred, panned)
- Depth of field
- Light metering modes in practice
- Selecting the right lens for a given subject - in practice
Urban and Architectural Photography Theory
Taking pictures of buildings is easy – clicking the shutter button is hardly rocket science. But what makes a "street photo" truly outstanding? You will gain insight into the theoretical background of the following:
- The "telling" details – where less is more
- Highlighting details, tips
- The importance of lines and space
- Color as a compositional element
- Composition of forms, image composition, perspective, framing
Urban, Architectural and Portraiture Photography
An essential quality of a good photographer is the ability to work well outside the studio. This requires an artistic eye for buildings, streets, and squares, and the skill to compose them correctly, sometimes combined with depicting people. Therefore, we will take what was discussed in the theoretical lesson and put it into practice.
Alongside depicting motion and depth of field, we will now place a greater emphasis on composing the image to be created.
We will also get a taste of the art of portraiture, as the urban environment holds countless opportunities for you to capture human figures and faces in a truly unique way.
Summary and Course Closing
Before we hand over your course completion certificate with teary eyes, one last session awaits you, covering the following topics:
- File formats (What is RAW and why should you use it?)
- Basic image processing knowledge in practice
- Image analysis: what is worth learning from the greats
Following this, a summary and evaluation of the entire course will take place, along with the awarding of certificates.
